For several years, the Belgian gouvernement promoted investments in renewable energy by giving financial support. A Flemish gouvernemantal institute has now calculated the impact of the payback of this support on electricity bills of families and SME's. Electricity costs of families will rise with an average of 35% (246 euro), and SME's will have a 27% higher electricity bill (6.000 euro).
