The present report aims at providing an overview of the existing EPC market in Belgium and providing recommendations for action for its successful development. The report focuses on identified barriers and success factors for the implementation of EPC projects in Belgium.
The attached report aims at providing an overview of the Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) quality determinants considered central to the effectiveness and reputation of the EPC in EU, both for the purposes of achieving guaranteed energy efficiency improvements for clients through quality service provided by competent EPC providers taking over most of service risks. This document outlines the key elements of EPC quality to be introduced in the EU Code of Conduct for the Energy Performance Contracting, an EPC quality label and reference point for potential EPC quality assurance schemes and service certification.
